Nothing about this Cockroach Party protest appears particularly new. It looks carefully orchestrated rather than organically driven.

Apart from Abhijit Dipke and a few spokespersons, most of the faces are familiar ones. Individuals who are frequently seen participating in protests across campuses and various parts of the country.

The protest therefore seems less like a spontaneous public movement and more like a regrouping of established activist circles.

Today apprd befr Hon’ble CJ @kolkataHighCourt for @gsamanto1 ji (WPA (P)/176/2026) agnst undemocratic attempt by TMC & its candidates in ongoing election Kunal ghosh & Bratya Bosh to redicalise the voters thrgh movie Korpoor where’re they acted &relesed the movie during election time, specifically after invocation of MCC. This is clearly against the mandate of The representation of peoples act. In 2019 Hon’ble @narendramodi ji biopic was stopped from screening. Though he was not even anywhere associated.
Such inaction by WB films censor board clearly reflects conspiracy and tacit consent by Mamta Didi.
However, after my contentions, the Ld CJ was pleased to keep the Petition as first item before it tomorrow as the AG of west begal sought time to respond. Hope TMC’s undemocratic & illegal acts will be exposed and candidature of these two named culprits will be cancelled tomorrow as prayed in the petition. @narendramodi @NitinNabin @swadesh171
