They classify it as destruction of property. However, since it is a private company, they had ZERO business putting them up on public roads. When you go into a public store, they are required, by law, to notify you that you are under surveillance. This system does not carry a consent via entry -- so it is unlawful under the 4th Amendment. Even red light cameras are in a gray area.
