Dear President Trump @realDonaldTrump & @pulte: $FNMA & $FMCC have COLLAPSED a staggering -85% in less than a year! How is that an amazing job for a so called $1T firm? Shareholders are crushed while promises remain unfulfilled. We need action, not words. RELEASE THE TWINS NOW!
X NEWS: Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Shareholders Urge Trump for Conservatorship Exit
"Investors are calling on President Trump and FHFA Director Bill Pulte to release the mortgage giants from their 2008 government conservatorship, pointing to Freddie Mac's $3.84 billion quarterly net income as proof of their strength. Stocks have tested lows like $3.00 for FNMA with some buyer support, but analysts at Mizuho recently cut price targets amid rising mortgage rates and delays. Trump has kept plans for taking the firms public on the table, while shareholders warn that prolonged government control risks future fund diversions in an already strained housing finance system."
Keep it up, fam.

@MattMilim@AFP9714 It has zero to do with it. People here do not seem to understand that the GSEs already buy this many mortgages in Montana. This was political spin, not new money.
@AFP9714@HorsemanCountry@pulte I’m shocked at how many shareholders seem to think the GSEs don’t already do $3B of mortgages in Montana. It’s not new money.
@HorsemanCountry They need to be discussing how on earth they are going to release the GSEs in an environment where home prices are tanking and mortgage rates are skyrocketing which causes a huge negative impact to to GSE profitability. The GSE portfolios are losing value.
@AlanGL2025@realDonaldTrump@pulte The GSEs already buy mortgages in every state. This is just spin. Trump is not giving $300k to 10,000 Montana families.
@RealAmVoice@POTUS $3B divided by 10,000 is $300k each. This is just a spin. The GSEs already buy this many Mortgages in Montana. Intellectually insulting to the public!
@Citizen8CC@World_21m It is nothing new. This was pure spin. $3B is 10,000 mortgages averaging $300K each. The GSEs already buy that many mortgages in Montana.
