TAB BALDWIN DOES NOT HAVE AN ALIEN EMPLOYMENT PERMIT
UPDATE: Former Ateneo men’s basketball head coach Tab Baldwin told the labor department on Monday, June 29, that he has never had an alien employment permit (AEP).
During a clarificatory session into the former coach’s work status, Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino said that the Bureau of Local Employment did not have any record of Baldwin’s AEP.
Baldwin, who has been in the Philippines since 2013, admitted to the panel that he does not have an AEP card.
He said he received a partially-filled out AEP form in 2015 but that he did not remember filling out the form.
