i have 12 followers, two products that have made $0, and a day job that just went from 3 days in office to 5. starts monday.
i moved cities for this job. my wife still hasn't found work here.
so this is day 1 of building in public, from the actual starting line
Late night coding sess.
Just added Apple's Liquid Glass to my app and it looks awesome.
Mind is boggled thinking about developing for IPhone Duo 😰😱

Found out none of RecompX's App Store installs were ever attributed to an ad. I'd been sending pt=recompx. Apple wants the numeric provider ID from App Store Connect and silently ignores anything else. No error, just nothing.
Fixed. Each ad now gets its own ct tag.
RecompX now emails you when you hit something worth noticing.
Workouts 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100. Your first real PR. Two and four weeks in a row on plan. Finishing weeks 1, 6 and 12.
And one nudge if you go 7 or 14 days without training. Each email sends once. That's it.
Every Dokly theme used to be the same layout in a different color.
Shipped two that aren't. Quarry is for dense API refs: flat canvas, no card-grid homepage. Meadow is for internal wikis: warm wash, biggest type in the lineup.
The real work was making layout data, not CSS.
Changed Dokly's pricing.
Trial was 7 days of a paid plan, card upfront. Now every new account just gets 14 days of Team. No card. When it ends you drop to Free on your own.
New Starter plan: $29, one site on your own domain, and your AI agent can publish directly.
Fun bug: signing out of Dokly's dashboard also signed out my AI agent.
Supabase's signOut() defaults to scope "global". That kills every session you have, including the one Claude Code held over MCP. 19 refresh_token_not_found errors in its log.
Fix: scope "local".
Dokly's Free plan now lets your own AI agent write to your docs.
It writes drafts. You publish. An agent that publishes on its own starts at Starter, $29.
Also new: create_site. A brand-new account with zero sites can connect Claude and let it set up the site itself.
RecompX's first weekly post went out yesterday. Took two drafts.
Draft 1 was a dev log from my git log. Nobody trying to get fitter cares about my edge functions.
Draft 2 is a fitness read: one sourced idea (you don't need to train to failure), what's new, one small challenge.
RecompX 0.1.3 got rejected by App Review under 2.1.
The tracking prompt only showed at the end of onboarding. The reviewer signed in instead and never saw it.
Fix: ask right after sign-up or sign-in. Everyone passes one, and they've already committed to the app.
