@CliftonHarness AR requires something to augment. In many cases what exists and available isn’t relative to the design. But design a lab space in an existing building and have clients test that space while pushing a cart down the hallway? That sells some AR.
@Twiceroadsfool@BIMchiq@TheRevitGeek@ThatBIMGuy@Revit_Dr_MEP@autodesk@BIM360 Respectfully, we’re all in on BIM360. 😁 We’ve been adopters since BIM360Teams. We believe it’s a good tool. I think it’s important to let new adopters know they may be asked to use the older version, because up to very recently ACC was missing functionality.
@BIMchiq@TheRevitGeek@ThatBIMGuy@Revit_Dr_MEP@Twiceroadsfool@autodesk That’s what I love to hear @BIMchiq. The more adopters the more better it is for all. But with a limited admin portal, I do not want the headache of staff having to deal multiple platforms and UIs. So any partner firm with us will use BIM360.
It’s been a pretty exciting week, why may you ask? Because the awesome @PhilosophyBIM has joined our Technology in Practice group at @SmithGroup. Welcome aboard Phil!
When a technologist buys a rake. Always need to look for something that shows more thought than just “more” and attempts to solve the problem uniquely...
@TmnHzll@PhilosophyBIM@TmnHzll In our day where data is king/queen can we always quantify "better"? Should we? Metrics are easy with efficiency improvements, but some tools excite and make happier staff. Excited staff can change your firm for the better.

We just let loose a landscape architect into a @AutodeskCivil3D / dwg only @BIM360 project. *fingers crossed* Almost told them they had to work with a white background for it to work properly. 😉
