Violence in Muktsar Sahib
Sikh youth Gurwinder Singh was brutally attacked by Shiv Sena members led by local leader Rajesh Garg while on his way to the hospital to meet a relative. The group had blocked the road without prior notice and staged a dharna, leading to an altercation. Shockingly, the assault took place in the presence of security police assigned to the Shiv Sena leader. Gurwinder is now hospitalized with serious injuries.
