#Matchalovers! We're so sorry we've been MIA. We wanted to give our website the fresh look it deserved. Plus, we added more products to our shop!
We promise we have a good reason of why we've been a bit quiet so please stay tuned.

@addison_forras Nooo!! It should have chocolatey smells and be rich in umami. Just make sure you’re drinking a ceremonial grade. A lot of times cafes rip people off by serving a culinary (lesser quality) matcha.
Eisai was a Zen Buddhist monk who brought the teachings of Rinzai Zen & #matcha to Japan. He planted tea seeds primarily in Mount Sefuri on the border of Fukuoka & Saga prefectures. He played an integral part in educating & popularizing this beloved green tea into Japan’s culture
#Matcha was originally drunk in China and later brought to Japan in the late 12th century. Only the nobility and samurais were able to drink it. Fast forward to a few centuries later, matcha developed tremendously to the public in Japan’s #Uji district. #history#humpday
Curious about the history of matcha?
"Matcha has been around a long time since the late 12th century in Japan, a good 300 yrs before the printing press was invented, and centuries before Copernicus, Michelangelo, and da Vinci were born. " @breakawaymatcha https://t.co/4RSLfpIobI
