"I just went to buy a Samsung washer and dryer from a guy, and he was asking $500.

I told him I just had a kid and if he could take $400, I’d be really grateful.

I got home, hooked everything up, and everything worked great.

I opened up the dryer to check the lint filter and I was shocked my $400 was sitting in there.

I got a message from him saying, “Check the dryer. A gift for the new baby.”

Man, words can't describe how grateful I am right now.

@marcelluswiley The two are not mutually exclusive! As others have mentioned, we need a short/long-term solution to the problem. Age limits need to be raised and certain weapons need to be banned or highly regulated. That said, the deep thought and perspective you bring is always appreciated!

@SRuhle @bchesky @MSNBC We lost productivity when deploying associates to work remotely during the pandemic. While some associates performed equally as well remotely, that was the exception. That said, for the right position (especially salaried) remote work can be a good option.

@JoshuaPotash California minimum wage is currently $14 an hour for employers with 25 or fewer employees. It is $15 an hour for employers with 26 or more employees. Some cities are higher than that. It’s important to compare apples to apples when reviewing this data.
