🚨Queen’s University law professor Bruce Pardy warns: Mark Carney branded peaceful truckers “seditionists” and “terrorists” simply for protesting Trudeau’s mandates — no violence, just honking horns and parking tickets.
Now as Prime Minister, he’s advancing Liberal hate speech laws that will silence dissent and crush the right to protest.
Every Canadian 🇨🇦 should be deeply worried: our free speech is in grave danger. Wake up! #MarkCarneyMustGo
You don’t have to love Elon Musk to recognize what this headline says about us.
A country that spends more time criticizing wealth creation than encouraging it sends a clear message to builders: your success is tolerated, not celebrated.
Canada should be the best place in the world to build ambitious companies. Headlines like this make us look like we’re not quite ready for that.
Great piece by @HadleyFreeman in Britain’s @thetimes about the Great unmarked graves social panic of 2021-26. The story makes Canadians look like gullible idiots, but it’s a valuable international case study in mass hysteria & journalistic incompetence

I respect lots of conservative federalists, including @Honickman. But none have yet described a path to fix the country. It's all very well to assert that "the federation can work for Alberta." But no one can explain, given our political realities, how that is to be achieved.
Fast food managers in the US make almost twice as much as AI developers in France or Germany 🤯
Europe -- and Canada -- are in complete denial how poor they're getting.
@AConlaunchpad@Tablesalt13 Accident benefits fraud within various ethnic communities-that was the issue a few years ago. Fake an accident, victim goes to ethnic chiropractor from same “community “ as victim etc etc
Warren Buffett: "[Gambling] is a tax on stupidity."
"Rich people love [legalized gambling] because they don't have to pay. To the extent that states raise money from people who the dollar really means something to them, it actually relieves the taxes on me or other rich people. It's not direct, but it's the net effect."
"I don't like things that make a sucker out of people. I don't think the function of the government is to play its people for suckers."
We should not forget the impact that Jordan Peterson had in arming us with arguments against progressives.
Nobody mainstream was able to do it like him.
What’s impressive about this is that the education system didn’t just eliminate virtually all conservative thought as it moved toward left wing extremism, they got rid of almost anyone who was in the middle too. Anyone who doesn’t fully comply with the groupthink isn’t welcome.
