✨ New server for the Polkadot validator ! ✨
I'm upgrading to a more powerful CPU, DDR5 RAM, and more storage.
Same provider, same DC, same SLA-premium support.
All new information will be updated on the website soon.
This is a SCAM. Do NOT use it.
A crypto-related account on X (Seed_VaultIO) is advertising a fake “offline” encryption tool that silently exfiltrates sensitive data to their server (/notify.php).
For every “encryption” request, the following data is sent out:
- Your seed phrase in plaintext
- Your location (city, country, country code)
- Your user agent (device information)
- Your IP address
Yes, EVEN THE “offline” HTML MODE contains the SAME exfiltration code embedded, but it fails currently because they poorly developed it.
Meanwhile, they publicly claim: “Your data NEVER leaves your device. This tool runs 100% in your browser — no server, no tracking, no data collection.”
That is FALSE. If you ever used it, consider your account compromised.
Please report the account, the domain, and the associated GitHub profile.
⚠️ Reminder for DOT nominators
With the new issuance curve now live, staking yields have dropped noticeably.
• Previously: around 10% APY
• Now: roughly 5–6% APY (depending on validator commission and stake distribution)
This change comes after Polkadot’s tokenomics reset, which reduced annual DOT issuance to about 55 million DOT.
However, this is before another major change takes effect.
The DAP upgrade, which will decouple validator and nominator rewards, has not been implemented yet.
Once it is live, nominator rewards will come directly from allocations within the DAP, rather than the current staking reward structure.
How exactly those rewards will be distributed and what the final yield will look like is still unclear.
Originally, the idea was to establish an economics fellowship via OpenGov to periodically adjust these parameters. Whether the @Web3foundation economists will propose the first set of parameters remains to be seen.
A simpler way to think about it might be this:
DAP could function somewhat like a “bank” for DOT.
You lock your DOT in a DAP allocation pool, and in return receive yield.
What that yield will be is still unknown,
it could be 5%, 10%, or even higher.
Higher yields would likely encourage more DOT to be locked, while lower yields could lead to more DOT circulating in the market.
For now, this is something the community will need to watch closely as the details evolve.
🚢 Just shipped https://t.co/CAA5ArJURg, a well-maintained Polkadot JS Apps fork with bug fixes and improvements. Details in the forum: https://t.co/gXYiXvegLu. Source @ https://t.co/ea9BrEaMci.
Some of the fixes/improvements:
- RPC endpoint fixes and improvements
- Several account display fixes
- Unbonding time fix for Asset Hubs
- Era remaining time Fix for Asset Hubs
- Removal of unused chain resources
- Severeal failing test fixes
- Feature removals
Your staked $DOT can no longer be slashed.
Polkadot is removing slashing for nominators entirely.
Validators must now hold 10,000 DOT in self-stake - they carry the accountability.

#Polkadot
Mid to Late March 2026 validator minimum self-stake will be 10k DOT
I have currently 4,248 DOT bonded. And next week I would at 10k DOT bonded.
Unstaking as been initiated last month on others wallets. So GTSTAKING will stil in the active set on Polkadot !

This January 👇
- One of our cloud providers scheduled network maintenance ➡️ we switched to the backup validator
- System and security update with restart of the primary validator server (Amsterdam)
- Crunch-Payout updated to the latest version following issues encountered yesterday
Staking rewards on Polkadot follow a ~24-hour cycle called an "Era," usually split between ~22K nominators.
Yesterday, in Era #2035, an issue with an off-chain election tool limited the nominator set to just 3K, leading to higher individual payouts for those included. The issue is now resolved, and the set has returned to its regular ~22K nominators.
📊 Did you know?
Subscan now tracks each validator’s Commission History — so you can review how their rates changed over time before nominating.
More transparency. Smarter staking decisions.

Following the Migration to Asset Hub :
"While copying configs from RC to AH, the fixed total issuance noted in Referendum 1139 was misplaced with sth else. This PR fixes this.
Note to all validators and stakers: Until this fix is deployed, the staking rewards are expected to be about 60% less than before."
