Health codes for preparing fresh cut fruit on site require running hot and cold water, and these stands don’t even have portable hand washing setups. And there’s no way they’re using licensed commissary kitchens for prep and cleanup, also required by health codes.

So far this year I’ve applied to approximately 400 jobs. I’ve got 20 years of experience, I’m not holding out for a high salary (my most promising lead right now is a $35/hr role), and I can’t find anything.
