On March 17th, 2021, workers at all of the San Francisco-based locations of Dandelion Chocolate, officially announced our intent to unionize our workplace and join the International Longshore and Warehouse Union, Local 6.

On August 10, 2000, Powell's workers succeeded in getting their first contract. With that victory, ILWU Local 5 came into existence! Now 20 years later, Growing Seeds workers are engaged in that same process.
