No other monuments to classic Hollywood mean more to me than the @ArcLightCinemas Cinerama Dome and the @MussoFrankGrill. Heartbreaking to think I'll never see a film inside the dome again. #SaveTheCineramaDome
One of the most inventive and fun scenes in 1930s film... Ruby Keeler and Lee Dixon dancing upon the giant typewriter in "Ready, Willing, and Able" (1937)
Always nice to see an understated, thoughtful brand activation that lives in harmony with its setting. It’s lovely to see the simple visual language of @NatGeo in one of my favorite Los Angeles natural history destinations. @labreatarpits
@mcten This is like the confounding logic of Michael Jordan in the 90s getting upset that people were following him while he drove around in luxury cars with variations of “Air” and “Jumpman 23” on the Illinois plates.
.@ChrisRyan77 your attention paid to Sam Phillips is appreciated. She is one of my favorite artists of all time, but not a country artist by a mile. Do yourself a favor and listen to this album at full volume. You will thank me. https://t.co/gmJ0NyEbW1
@CohenSite Perfect timing. Because of course all the existing soundstages are overbooked. Safe to assume this developer is including landlines, as well as stables for the care and feeding of horses?
Martin Scorsese doesn’t watch movies in public movie theaters anymore.
Peter Travers says Scorsese told him that audiences talk and go on their phones too much during films now.

@aherman2006@StreamOnMax This is incredible. I suppose it's flattering to know that, in the event of ChatGPT being down, the HBO interns running social are directed to your Twitter feed as an information repository?
Adding to the noise. Another Substack. At least it's free... Thanks to @michaeljoel for inviting me to write this for @MusebyClio when the pandemic was in full display. https://t.co/VMZW2SkgTs
I always enjoy your insights on men’s proper suiting and tailoring. Watching THE BRUTALIST tonight felt like your Twitter feed brought vividly to life. I’m eager to hear your thoughts on the film’s wardrobe. @dieworkwear
@loudmouthjulia Wowza is right. It's amazing how easy it is to become numb to these large fees. Oddly, the one that bothers me the most is paying the additional $2.99 a month for Amazon Prime to be commercial free. For some reason, that feels the most superfluous.
@CohenSite The cherry on top were the phone calls, post-appointments where humans in offshore call-centers inquired if I would like to go forward and apply. It was clear their call script had no contingency for my experience. They only repeated, "This is the last unit left in LA! Act now!"
