Fascinating conversation with Saurav Kumar, Founder & CEO of Euler Motors, an Indian EV manufacturing startup. Impressed by their 3W cargo vehicle HiLoad EV. High-performance EVs tailor-made for Indian conditions, right here in India! India needs more manufacturing innovation like this! #AtmanirbharBharat #EVRevolution
2021: "SurveyMonkey changed its name to {unmemorable} in a rebranding to emphasize that it does more than corporate surveys."
2023: "{unmemorable} is to return to its original SurveyMonkey name."
Not surprised. Anyone know (without looking it up) what the 2021-23 name was?
Yesterday I went to IKEA Bengaluru and spent over Rs. 80,000!🤯
I just wanted 5 items but came out with 78!🤡
Here are 3 tricks IKEA uses to make you spend more.📈
💡1. The Gruen Effect:
The layout of IKEA's experience stores is no less than a maze.
Even if you want just one item, you'll have to walk past their entire inventory. Normally in any store, a customer only sees 30% of its inventory. Not in IKEA.
You end up forgetting what you came here for and that leads to impulse purchases.😵💫
💡2. Decoy Effect:
I literally saw this yesterday with the prices of IKEA frames.
The large frame was Rs. 900, the medium one at Rs. 700 and the smaller one at Rs. 400.
This made us think the Rs. 900 frame is the best value for money.💯
This neat tricks generates over 14.3% more gross profit for IKEA every year.🚀
💡3. Secret Psychology of IKEA food:
IKEA makes just 5% from it's food offerings.
Over 30% people come to IKEA just for its food.
But, why sell food as a furniture company?
Because having food creates a sense of happiness, thereby elevating your mood. The mood of a customer largely affects how much they'll spend.
👉 In a 2012 survey report, customers who were well fed spent 2x more on home furniture and clothes.
Have you been to an IKEA store yet?👀

Do you ever observe how office meetings with a sizable gathering of individuals evoke a comparable sense of excitement among certain members, akin to the euphoria one feels from Sasta Nasha? No wonder offline is back and everyone’s loving it!!!!
Hello Origin Nutrition, please do not use my photo and results of our as yet unpublished study on multiple protein products sold in India, funded by @paraschopra. This was a personal level, public health project AND NOT A TOOL for you to use in your promotions for selling your product. This is not very intelligent from your side. Please ask your vendors/stores online to remove this.
Protein and supplements industry is cleared and regulated by the Food and Safety Standards Authority of India (@fssaiindia) and not me. This is a blatant violation and mockery of the system here.
If you are using my photos and my public health activity for selling your products, like Virat Kohli's is used by the infamous Herbalife, then pay my fee so that I can use that money to analyse more of your own products as well as others! Let this become a movement for the people, of the people.
If there is one article you have to read today, it's this one, by @crackedscience on the breakdown of the "popularity" of Hubermanlab.
Summary: Everything is not alright & Everything is not what it seems.
Salient points:
"...Huberman is not a medical doctor"
"...respectable neuroscientist starts sanctioning mountains of dietary supplements"
"...[his lack of] ability to evaluate the literature on these poorly regulated concoctions"
..."Right from the start, The Huberman Lab was sponsored by companies offering questionable products"
..."Andrew Huberman regularly recommend the herb ashwagandha for its “profound effect on anxiety,” an herb that has a suspected potential for worsening autoimmune conditions and causing miscarriages, has been poorly studied"
Huberman is, intentionally or unintentionally, a pseudoscience apologist, with lots of recommendations coming from "Ayurvedic" pseudoscience principles.
So what is Huberman really good at?
"Andrew Huberman is indeed really good at explaining what happens to neurotransmitters in the brain and to hormones inside our body [and thats it].

Not sure if you knew this, but @drbabukv, an Opthalmologist from Kerala single handedly bought the Ayurveda pharma behemoth Patanjali run by Mr. Ramdev and his associate Mr. Balakrishna to its knees.
Patanjali has been time and again violating advertisements rules and regulations by promoting unscientific, untested and potentially toxic herbal supplements as "cure" for diseases like chronic liver disease, high blood pressure and diabetes.
Now, over almost 2 years and through a series of painstakingly made RTI based complaints that went knocking on all doors of almost every health regulatory body in India, investigative action against this public health endangering "Patanjali Divya Pharmacy" has been initiated, only because one person sitting in a small corner of the country decided to fight for public health, trying to shield our people from pseudo-nationalistic, pseudoscience selling, science-denying, anti-modern medicine, "chemical" fear mongers who operate under the garb of religion & culture masked as "healthcare."
Kudos to this 👏 🙏
Should @SEBI_India have search, seize and arrest powers?
@SecureKloudTech predated contracts one day prior to submission. The company’s sales increase coincided with promoters dumping the stock at high prices. Criminal case let off with small fine. https://t.co/C9xRNmWeQM
@_svs_@paraschopra absolutely. A lot of folks have come together to co-sponsor these grants with us. Without them, we'd only have sponsored 24 in a year, right now, we are at 70+ :)
