Fun Fact: By the time the game finally launches, it will have been 24 years since the release of the original GTA: Vice City on the PS2 back in October 2002.
@NikTek I watched the gameplay video an hour ago, how creepy that you are posting it now. I hope the narrator will be back again for the GTA 6 gameplay.
@TGGonYT Could not agree more. The hype cycle for this game is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The best thing anyone can do right now is just grab some popcorn, respect each other, and watch the internet break.
@_ryan_cuh@Wastek6n@videotech I will be able to watch it live, for me, itโs not at a late hour. I was just generally wondering because Rockstar usually posts around 3 or 4 PM.
@SOCALxSOLDIER00@GTAVIGALAXY Yeah, I think so too. Especially because they are presenting it on Netflix and announced it early, I think it will be 20+. Who knows, we'll find out soon.
In a new interview with IGN, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick shared key details about the upcoming Netflix presentation:
- Rockstar is using the Netflix partnership to experiment with entirely new marketing strategies.
- Zelnick specifically referred to the showcase as an "extended trailer".
- The video will be exclusive to Netflix for exactly six hours before arriving on YouTube and other outlets.
- When asked about the content, he refused to spoil anything but confidently stated that everyone is going to watch it anyway.
- Adressing the subscription complaints, his message was simple: if you are not a Netflix subscriber, you definitely should be.
