INVEST IN MANAGERS
Student managers at high majors are so valuable to the team, not only from a work standpoint but also with the energy they bring. Often times they are the ones rebounding for players and helping them get their extra work in.
I feel like the more programs can invest in their managers to grow on the development side… it will help their players maximize their extra work and also build better managers.
Happy Administrative Professional Day to our 2 favorite ladies, @megan_black33 & @ashtonhopp_. Holding down GTG & their respective programs. 🗣️

The moments of the Madness you don’t see on TV:
Michigan senior manager Ryan Levine making sure the national championship trophy makes it safely from the locker room to the bus
"Happy to carry the flag for all the managers, the GAs, the grunts, cause it's possible. It's tough but it's possible."
@MattNorlander with National Championship winning head coach Dusty May
We knew Dusty May begged for jobs here as an IU student manager at the 2000 Final Four in Indy.
What we didn't know? John Calipari gave him one. The untold story of a borrowed minivan and all-night drive to Memphis:

Enjoyed my time in Indianapolis! 🏎️ Always want to give credit to @GTGhoops for this opportunity! Because of them I was able to build genuine connections that I know will last for a lifetime! 🔐 Looking forward to keeping those going. Now it’s time to get to back to work! 🏀
