Midday tornadoes in Wisconsin are uncommon. Nearly a mile wide tornado with 140mph winds occurring midday is very rare.

The fact that nobody was killed in the Menasha tornado is remarkable 🙏

@SamKuffelWx I just had some this afternoon. They weren’t horrible but they clearly aren’t the best around. For 5 ish bucks it was a good afternoon snack to hold me over until dinner.

@LukeSampe Just watched the report on the 10:00 news cast. Horrific and absolutely devastating. I feel like an urban tornado of this size and scope of damage is rare. Such a dense area for this to pass through.
