As the newest member of Orange County’s Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), we’re happy to provide $5,000 toward the purchase and installation of a new emergency notification sign on FM 1006. Our Fire and Safety Supervisor, Bobby Wiley, and his team accepted an acknowledgement from the County at the Orange County Commissioners Court meeting.
This sign provides real-time emergency notification to community members in the event of an industrial incident. The health and safety of our employees, contractors and neighbors is of the utmost importance to us.

Our in-house Emergency Response Team was joined by plant manager Chad Jennings in College Station last week for hands-on industrial training. Our friends at Triangle Rescue Standbys gave in-depth scenarios for our team to practice on, helping them prepare for the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors and the community.
It’s been one year since Lamar State College Orange unveiled its Hands-On-Training (H.O.T) Unit for process technology students, made possible with a $1.325 million donation from Golden Triangle Polymers. We sat in on a class recently to see how students are benefiting from the technology. Read More: https://t.co/wbhdLDnFud

We know it's important to show up - not just for work, but for the people who built the community we live in. This week, our team is at Focused Care at Orange spending time with residents and helping out with various activities like BINGO, arts and crafts, and dominos.
Thanks to all our employees who rolled up their sleeves today gave back in a big way by donating blood. We're proud to support lifesaving efforts like this and even prouder of the people who step up to make a difference in our community. Great job, guys! 👏
We’re thrilled to congratulate the 2025–2026 recipients of the Golden Triangle Polymers Scholarship!
Each of these deserving students will receive a full scholarship covering tuition, books, and fees for a two-year Industrial Systems degree at Lamar State College Orange. This opportunity was made possible by a $100,000 donation from Golden Triangle Polymers last year—the largest single gift ever received by the LSCO Foundation.

We're taking a big step forward in our operational readiness with the construction and operation of an onsite rail system. We will use this rail to safely and efficiently ship polyethylene produced at our facility. Learn more about our rail operations: https://t.co/W5ecJCdG92
Today, we had the pleasure of escorting local elected officials and community leaders on a tour of our construction site. Along the way, we answered questions, talked about next steps, and gave a firsthand look at the progress of our world-class facility.
We've recently launched a recycling program at our construction site that focuses on single-stream plastics with a goal of recycling 80 tons per year — that’s roughly the same weight as 13 elephants. Learn more: https://t.co/Eq5Nu8ekOr

We unveiled our first in-house emergency response vehicle.
It will provide immediate response to plant emergencies and is a critical piece of equipment for our in-house emergency response team. This type of vehicle is more maneuverable than a fire engine, so it can get in tight spaces as fast as possible. This is just one more way we're committed to setting the highest standards in safety.
It's decked out - literally. Some of the features include:
📷Capability to expel up to 5,000 gallons of water per minute
📷Two 2,000 gallon per minute monitors with remote controls along with a 500 GPM Blitzsfire and a 500 GPM Hemisphere
📷300 feet of 5-inch hose lines that stay preconnected for rapid deployment
📷Foam fire extinguishing capabilities
📷A fifth wheel hookup
📷360 degree emergency lighting
...and a REALLY cool paint job.
We had the pleasure of unveiling this vehicle at the Sabine Neches Chiefs Association meeting. This is one of five Emergency Response vehicles Golden Triangle Polymers will have on-site.
