@GOtransit 22:34 to Guelph on 2023-06-23. I had to climb over these bikes in order to exit at Brampton. People struggled to board at Bloor. I reminded these individuals of the rules and they seemed unbothered. I want a solution that works for everyone, but this can't continue.
@GOtransit@GOTransitSSD Could I have pushed the emergency alarm? I think we know a situation that requires police, fire, or paramedics when we see it. Was this that kind of situation? Probably not. So, all I can do is raise these complaints to you knowing that there probably aren't any easy solutions.
@GOtransit@GOTransitSSD I could not exit at the door I wanted to without climbing over bikes. The next bike-free door would have been at least 2 cars away. Anyone on the lower level would have had to climb over bikes to get to the stairs. Was I "trapped"? Depends on how much of a pedant you want to be.
A common backyard sight, the Northern Cardinal is one of the few birds that I've been fortunate enough to snap photos of in almost every stage of its life cycle. Here we see an adult male with his brilliant red coat, a juvenile moulting, and a fledgling … https://t.co/GY8vJwUItO
@GOtransit This was the 1040 from Mount Pleasant, and the picture was taken at departing Malton. 4 in this vestibule, and 3+ in the opposite at the peak. This is a regular thing on the Kitchener line, and the final westbound of the day typically sees 6-8 ebikes per coach.
.Hey @GOtransit Can you please look into how we can accommodate everyone who wants to bring their ebikes on board while ensuring aisles stay clear for entry and exit? I've got luggage and I'm blocked in...
A graceful riverside stoic, the Mute Swan will generally mate for life. Nesting season begins as soon as the ice thaws, so look for the first cygnets to be making their debut on ponds and lakes very soon.

Sometimes you're able to get above a bird's perch and capture it from an interesting angle. This Mourning Dove photo captures one of those moments, though I've had to crop out a bit of its tail to hide its... Leavings. You win some and you lose some.

The Long-tailed Duck is one of the most unique members of the waterfowl family, with even the non-breeding males having an almost artistic coat. While prior encounters were fleeting - with the diving duck doing what it does best - my first outing of 2023… https://t.co/MVvZS1p3gn
While one could be forgiven for confusing a female Hooded Merganser for another merganser, the male's contrasting black-and-white head is the telltale. While these pictures are heavily cropped and have lost a lot of detail, I really like the watercolour … https://t.co/Wmq0i9clHf
Whether they are flying silently with legs outstretched, or patiently stalking their meal, a Great Blue Heron sighting always leaves me in awe. It boggles the mind that something so big and seemingly so ancient can also be so silent.

Prolific and iconic - two words to describe the European Starling. An introduced species, you'll often see them in massive flocks where their iridescent feathers with shimmering star points make them unmistakable. And, if you're lucky, you might even hea… https://t.co/GYNpqk9Gzj
Some birds are simply named after the sounds they make, and the Eastern Phoebe is no exception. Listen often for a raspy "phoebe" call, as listen early as these flycatchers are some of the earliest to return north.

The Etobicoke Creek valley has plenty of gnats, midges, flies, mosquitos, and other delicacies for flycatchers like this Eastern Kingbird. However, I find that my flycatcher sightings are usually on bright sunny days when I have zero hope of getting the … https://t.co/XwHrJoBg8b
