As part of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, @guamddcouncil, along with Guam Legal Services Corporation-Disability Law Center and Guam CEDDERS, held a conference at the Hilton Guam Resort in Tumon on March 17 & 18.

On March 3, Acting Gov. @ltgovguam Josh Tenorio signed a proclamation in observance of March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Over 40 community partners and supporters joined the event via Zoom.

A showcase of mental health inspired art, film, poetry, & prose submission by our island's youth & young adults will take place during the event.
Representatives of the GDDC and Guam Legal Services Corp-Disability Law Center attended the Assistive Technology Conference hosted by the Guam System for Assistive Technology and UOG CEDDERS. The multi-day event was held from April 25-29.

2022 Disability Policy Seminar - the day included discussion on disability funding priorities in Congress and emergency response strategies. Congressman James Clyburn (SC) ended the last session speaking about voting rights and accessibility.
