A loud sigh heard only by her own ears, Maya pushed her chair away from the desk.

Her footsteps intentionally slow when she exited her office and made her way to where Milly was.

“Coffee.” Was all she said, with a hand held out.

Thirty more minutes and she’d be out of there. Just half an hour longer.

Maya nearly cries out when her foot just barely touches the floor. The pain making itself known quickly, with the boot temporarily taken off for what could’ve been sleeping.

“Ow.” She frowned, instantly regretting a tug given to the IV secured within her hand.

“Can you… tell them to come unhook me!” She nearly pouted, more than ready to get out of there.

“I can still finish my shift if they’d hurry up.” The sex ban talk could wait— maybe.
