Guardians of Rescue

We're dedicated to ending animal suffering and work every day to help those in need, change their lives, educate, and advocate for stronger protections.

A public service announcement for this weekend from a precious pup who made it from a difficult start to a beautiful life thanks to your support. Together we save them... and feed them on time!

Our teams are working to get #dogs indoors with their owners or into new homes, and for those who have no alternative but to spend the cold months outdoors, building the proper shelter they need to survive the freezing temperatures.

Guardians works to save every animal that we can, including the tiniest who need help - like this little field mouse who was thrown in the trash, rescued, and set free in a safe place. Life matters to the smallest too.

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Kevin found Bear as a tiny puppy during a night raid overseas and he knew he couldn't leave him behind - he wouldn't make it alone. Our rescue mission to save Bear and get this #puppy to safety is in progress but we need your help! https://t.co/BQ3keS8uV0

Dolly was used and neglected by a #BackyardBreeder. Living in her own filth and suffering from a host of infections, open wounds, horrendously matted coat, and a low body score, she suffered horribly. Her transformation was possible only thanks to everyone who supports our work!

[Guardians of Rescue @guardiansusa]

Emlyn and her newborn kittens are doing well and being closely monitored by our team. Emlyn is proving to be a wonderful mother for her babies who were born in a safe warm place, rather than out in the cold where so many dangers would have welcomed them to the world instead.

[Guardians of Rescue @guardiansusa]

Emlyn was rescued during a brutal winter storm - saving her had an even bigger impact because this sweet lady was pregnant. In the early hours of the morning, Emlyn gave birth to 5 tiny babies and we are thrilled to be able to say that both she and her kittens are doing well.

Left to freeze by a backyard breeder Dolly's life has been one of suffering and exploitation and horrendous neglect. Now in our care she has significant medical needs which we are treating as we work with officials to ensure justice. https://t.co/7twjb3PF0l

Countless dogs kept outside don't have protection from the brutal weather and many don't make it. We are installing life-saving emergency shelters to make sure they do.
