@MAKHENATESLA@gimbakakanda Justice isn’t about revenge. If you oppose violence, condemn all killings, don’t justify one with another. Every victim deserves justice.
@abselense@PeterObi Every life matters, this isn’t a competition. Condemning the brutal lynching of innocent travelers doesn’t mean Edo lives don’t matter. Justice isn’t about picking sides,it’s about upholding the rule of law for everyone. If we justify mob killings today, who will be safe tomorrow?
@PeterObi Is this the leadership you aspire to? Your third paragraph is disappointing and reeks of bias. While the events in Edo were undeniably wrong, you couldn’t help but deflect by mentioning ‘killings of Edo indigenes,’ as if that justifies mob violence.
@PeterObi Instead, your statement sounds like an attempt to balance the equation rather than uphold justice.
If you cannot stand firmly against jungle justice and defend every Nigerian’s right to safety, then you are part of the problem.
@PeterObi Why reduce everything to ethnic narratives?
A true leader would unequivocally condemn the lynching of innocent travelers, not dilute the issue with whataboutism. These victims were accused without proof and brutally murdered where is your clear outrage?
If the Hausas that were k'lled in Edo State were bandits or criminals like some people say, don't u think they would be travelling with better (sophisticated) weapons and even opened fire immediately they were in danger? Stop making excuses. People took laws into their own hands and that's NEVER justifiable. Those of u making excuses will have a different opinion if the tables were turned.
Please, let’s make this person famous — let’s make him go viral by retweeting this tweet.
He is one of the many suspects involved in the k!lling of 16 Northern Hausa Muslims.
Keep retweeting until the security agencies catch him!
