Why the Contempt for the “Old Useless Bastards”
The reason I harbor such open contempt for the older generations - whom I unapologetically call “old useless bastards” - is straightforward: since 1963, they have vigorously resisted the most basic, obvious truth - that politicians are the enemy.
Every tribal and divisive sentiment I’ve ever heard in my life came from them. Not a single one will go down in history as having risen above colonial narratives and ethnic baiting. Not even one.
It has been nothing but tribal arithmetic, election after election. They even propped up Rigathi Gachagua’s impeachment circus to sustain this delinquent facade, ensuring that every time he gets a microphone, it’s “murima this, murima that.”
It is unfortunate that an entire generation consciously chose to remain trapped in this stupidity.
Even now, we see Boomers and Gen X - completely unable to read the room or stand on the right side of history - shamelessly trying to drag their own children back into Moi-era politics. Not even one has dared to call their agemates to order and tell them they are wrong.
In fact, we watched shameless Boomers - led by Uhuru Kenyatta, Martha Karua, James Orengo, Gitobu Imanyara, Kalonzo Musyoka, and others who failed to liberate Kenya in the 1990s - hijack our June 25th memorial for victims of William Ruto’s abductions, extrajudicial killings and judicial persecution.
We saw Gachietha, without an ounce of shame, holding press conferences clearly aimed at demobilizing protests on behalf of the state.
They’ve even propped up the pathetic Linda Mwananchi bandwagon of scammers, led by senatorial conman Edwin Sifuna and that loudmouth fraud Babu Owino - a pair of seemingly “young” degenerates who still walk around with the redundant, rat-infested brains of tired retirees.
Yesterday on Saba Saba, these clowns staged protests that Kenyans wanted absolutely nothing to do with and couldn’t care less about. They do not speak for us. Not even close.
There is simply no winning with Boomers and Gen X. Even when we try to do our own things and carve out our own path, they still have to meddle and stick their noses where they don’t belong.
Unfortunately for them, Kenyans have clocked it. We have taken detailed notes and we have all the receipts.
The older generations had their chance. They squandered it spectacularly through tribalism, short-sightedness, and colonial subservience. Now they must step aside and let the future happen - whether they like it or not.
Their time is over.
Fagia Wote. The rest is noise. The youth are watching. And we remember everything.
@omwambaKE They have a lot of Oil and Cattle ,fool. They just come to spend the Money here. A South Sudanese woman's dowry is like 200 cattle, how do you think they afford it?
@Kawy_Pam No Culture bestows the duty of Blessings and Curses on Women. Otherwise Rebecca would have just blessed Jacob herself instead of tricking Isaac. Just feminist Nonsense
On behalf of the leadership and people of Russia, I extend our deepest condolences over the martyrdom of Iran's Supreme Leader, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. We mourn this immeasurable loss alongside the Iranian people.
