Last week we paid our final payment on the wool mill and all equipment. I sat down with Mr James afterwards to lunch they made for me: ham and cheese on white bread.

“I just want you to know” he said with a pause. “Someone in the wool community offered me thirty-thousand more for the mill, but I like that you’re young, and I like your family. I want to see you make good use of it.”

Mr James let us make payments on it, gave us a better deal, and processed wool for us until we picked up the machinery, even in his poor health.
