@madoka_exedraEN when chaos mode is unlocked, the game doesn't let you go anywhere until you look at the chaos mode menu, but then the game is softlocked because there are no options on the screen and all buttons become unresponsive. so you can't pull for mabayu if you have chaos mode 😭 pls fix

[gacha] ive given up for now bc shes in the standard pool of 5*s anyway, and guasses homura probably will be at some point since shes not limited, and apparently mabayu is coming at the end of the month so im saving for her properly now. but every time i get a 5* i Hope

anyway all that aside the magireco story has fascinated me and so has whatever the hell is going on with the protag of exedra and with AQ

not that i dont have a lot of nostalgia for the original madoka anime & a lot of attachment to the holy quintet. i just dont think it was good or even particularly groundbreaking whereas both urobuchi & the most annoying ppl on the internet act like its the only good mahou shoujo

fault for existing and wanting things. the original concepts it has are interesting and some of the stories that spinoff media has used them to tell are meaningful and worth reading/watching? its just that the main story and Especially rebellion are um. The way that they are

its been a While since i played a gacha game since dropping enstars due to it getting increasingly racist and terrible. and i fear that getting back into madoka of all things via gacha is like. Not really much of an improvement

but the issue is when madoka isnt 1) pretending to be a ~normal cutesy girly magical girl series~ (as if mahou shoujo is an inherently Niceys genre with no conflict or suffering in it ever.) for shock value and 2) writing abt girls suffering for shock value then saying its their

[gacha] i did my free daily scout for ultimate madoka and just got an error and i was jokingly like "well apparently ultimate madokas been giving errors in battles too so i must have gotten her" and moved on. then when leaving the menu after changing my party i did a double take
