George Galloway:
The massacre of 167 girls, aged 7 to 12, at an elementary school in Iran is the greatest atrocity committed by the United States since the Vietnam War.
It is the largest mass killing of schoolgirls ever recorded in world history.
Yet no one is talking about it
🚨 Dr Ayo Moiett was arrested outside HMP Bronzefield while protesting for medical attention for a hunger striker.
Protesters say police said the doctor was arrested for “assaulting an officer”, but protesters deny this.

Four years 'work experience' @waitrose? Four?! It's an absolute disgrace. Exploitative. I won't beg you to employ him. This young man deserves better. I do, however, hope another employer sees his genuine potential as a valued employee.
He literally gave his life documenting Israeli atrocities, and the day after his death they erase it all. It’s evil. They’re sending the message they will erase us. They justify and then conceal the war crimes, beyond complicity its collaboration in genocide.
And it’s not even a good grad tax: the rich can buy their way out of it by not taking out the loans in the first place. Therefore grads from poorer families end up with a de facto higher rate of income tax than richer ones.
Thousands of blind people cannot read the documents explaining they are set to lose disability benefits because Liz Kendall has not bothered making accessible versions in audio or braille. You couldn't make it up.

i fear this is dante’s inferno and this is the ninth circle: treachery against the soul itself.
Krishnan Guru-Murthy, "Did you come into politics to make poor people poorer?"
Labour's Secretary to the Treasury, James Murray, "I came into politics to put more money into people's pockets"
KGM, "How on earth is a Labour government doing things that puts 250,000 people in relative poverty, 50,000 of who are children?"
JM, "Tackling child poverty is a priority for the Prime Minister, the Chancellor, for all of us"
KGM, "Not a very high priority"
The most harrowing and heartbreaking final note. This man should be alive, in the full bloom of youth. Instead he has been murdered heartlessly by a state intent on disappearing Palestinians and wiping them out of history. But they will never win.
This is Hossam’s team, and we are sharing his final message :
“If you’re reading this, it means I have been killed—most likely targeted—by the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years old—a college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tents—anywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my people’s side.
By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at rest—something I haven’t known in the past 18 months . I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.
I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza. Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free.”
— For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza.
i am just so disgusted by the notion that we have to indulge any negative attitudes toward immigration. these are people. they aren't chaos, they aren't violence. they are people. you could have been them, they could have been you. there's no morally defensible compromise.
This is why your little AI and ChatGPT will never suffice. Writing is about the work and the process. You can’t bypass all that and still call yourself a writer.
The incentive to work = Pay
We all have bills to pay.
Real wages in the UK are lower in 2025 than what they were in 2008
Maybe. Just maybe, that’s the problem.
Again what has happened in this country is simple, years of cuts to the standard of living and the health service has resulted in a sicker population, and now the people who enacted and supported those cuts are blaming you for it.
I see a lot of people celebrating the passing of the Employment Rights Act yesterday. I don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble, but there are some things that need to be known - and you won’t get it from the media … /1
* I know there will be those who say it is better than nothing, but as some labour law academics have pointed out, the omissions are the glue that binds the legislation together. If it is not comprehensive & watertight … 24/
