The biggest thing here was actually me finally making a prompt system that I can reuse for other stuff, rather than whatever spaghetti code I came up with during the jam
I still can't get over this, HOW?? Nestence placed so high in like everything?!? Thank you so much to everyone who played it and gave feedback during the jam!

Remember when I said I wasn't gonna add much more? Well, that was a lie I guess, here is a new section to the game.
I'm using recolored versions of creature sprites by @IKnowKingRabbit!

@koboldskeep Thank you! The returning platforming section is getting a expansion (part of the escape sequence). I was looking into changing up the ending and maybe adding one more puzzle to the first act, but I don't wanna promise anything.
Here is my favorite updated section of the game.
I present to you: - Battle against compression - (because twitter ain't ever showing this at full quality lmao)

I'm still working on Nestence! I hope to release the post-jam version by the end of the #LD48 rating fase, coming with music, SFX and a little more content! I will try to share some of the progress until then.

Here is my Ludum Dare 48 entry: Nestence

It ended up being a very short game, and I didn't manage to get audio in, but I'm very glad I finished it.

@Alex_ADEdge I do normally use a palette, although this time I did add a few colors of my own.
Yeah, I don't even have a audio editing software installed at the moment, but there is still some time, let's see what happens.
I can't even believe I may actually finish it.
Here are some screenshots of my #LudumDare game! (Yep, it's all from a single game).
I really need to sleep now though, probably not gonna have time to add audio.
