Indonesia strongly condemns Israel's military strikes against Iran. Such escalation and expansion of conflicts are clear violations of international law and demonstrate Israel’s utter disregard for it.

All parties must exercise maximum restraint and refrain from any actions that could escalate tensions and lead to further instability in the region.

Indonesia reiterates that Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian territory remains the root cause of conflicts in the Middle East and that the establishment of an independent State of Palestine, within the framework of the Two-State Solution, is the only way to bring peace to the region.

Therefore, Indonesia urges the UNSC to assume its responsibility under the UN Charter to stop all hostilities committed by Israel as soon as possible, including acts of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and attacks against UNIFIL. Indonesia also underscores the need for the UNSC to consider further actions required to bring an end to the illegal occupation.
