Spoke to the petrol station I visited. Gave me the head office number (above!)
Described the issue differently, armed with the store advising it needs head office action and was more insistent.
They've "noted feedback" and I now have a call open for updates.

So I phoned @asda (0800 952 0101) and was put through to the store I visited.
I then was transferred to the garage at that store.
After 25 minutes, I got another call and hung up here.
Tried a different route - Asda tyres. They're a third party ... Back to the start. 1/?
