Absolute disaster of management by @RailwaySeva. Even after contacting the helpline, executives are not reverting back or providing updates. Passengers are being completely harassed with zero communication. Please look into this immediately! #TrainDelay#IndianRailways
@RailwaySeva Stranded for hours, zero communication, helpline executives acting like they’re doing us a favor, and on-ground staff passing the buck. Incredible India, but make it a total disaster. Fix this nightmare! #IndianRailways#RailMadad#TrainDelay
Frustrated & stranded! Train 20954 has been halted at Ponpadi for over an hour, after already being delayed at Nagari. We are told "work is going on," yet other trains are freely passing by. Why is our train being singled out? @RailMinIndia@AshwiniVaishnaw @SRlyNews

@RailwaySeva Even better? The Station Master in person tells us to "call 139"—an absolute imaginary service that exists only to ignore people. If the government relies on this "worse than useless" system, how are passengers supposed to feel safe in an actual emergency? @PMOIndia
@RailwaySeva Huge shoutout to @RailwaySeva’s 139 helpline for pioneering a new level of customer service: disconnecting calls & literally threatening passengers for asking why Train 20954 is stranded at Ponpadi! Absolute peak performance. 👏 @RailMinIndia@AshwiniVaishnaw

Train 09420 severe delay, random halts & slow speed. Co-passengers say this is normal. 139 & Ministry not responding/deflecting. 3rd grade service ruining onward travel. Expedite or give full compensation!
Respected @nsitharaman ji and @FinMinIndia,
Suggestion 3 of 3 for strengthening India's capital markets:
Securities Transaction Tax (STT) should be abolished.
STT was introduced as a simplified transaction tax to facilitate easier collection of taxes from capital market transactions. However, over time, it has effectively become an additional layer of taxation alongside other market-related levies.
A simplification measure should not evolve into permanent duplication.
In addition to brokerage, investors already bear multiple statutory and regulatory charges including exchange transaction charges, GST on transaction-related charges, SEBI turnover fees, stamp duty and STT.
Unlike income tax, STT is payable irrespective of whether an investor makes a profit or a loss. The investor pays the tax simply for participating in the market.
Capital markets play a vital role in channeling household savings into productive enterprises, supporting entrepreneurship, generating employment and strengthening India's economic growth. Transaction costs and multiple layers of taxation discourage participation, particularly among long-term retail investors.
India's equity markets have matured significantly since the introduction of STT. The time has come to review its original purpose and reconsider its continued relevance.
Abolishing STT would simplify market taxation, improve capital market efficiency and encourage greater participation in India's growth story.
Respectfully submitted.
Motilal Oswal #Alert#shocking news
On 5th November 2025, their advisory arm issued a BUY on Kaynes Technologies at a CMP of ₹6,659 with a target of ₹8,200.
But less than two weeks later, their Mutual Fund arm offloaded a huge chunk of the same stock at around ₹6,000.
To a normal investor, this looks like a conflict of interest. But legally, it isn’t. SEBI regulations allow group companies to run research, advisory, mutual funds, PMS, wealth independently, even if their views clash. But, it is not that simple either. Retail investors have no way to know whether these decisions are genuinely independent or quietly coordinated. Well, if all AMCs and advisory under the same group company are doing it, how do we know for a fact that there is no information exchange happening at all. This is a pretty expensive affair after all. Plus, even if SEBI audits, these discussions obviously won’t always happen over emails. It could be a conf-room discussion, even a chai-pe-charcha for that matter or a sutta-break(s). Plus, in every large group, there are central teams who can access information from multiple arms. So the question is: 1. Why isn’t SEBI mandating clearer disclosures? If a group company holds a stock, shouldn’t the research arm explicitly say so? 2. Why isn’t there a cooling-off period? Even Registered Analysts and Investment Advisers follow this. This Motilal episode doesn’t conclusively prove wrongdoing. They may be right. They may not be. But it clearly proves one thing, the rules need tightening. If the current system allows confusion, it's the retail investors who loses confidence.
