Somaliland President Announces Shift to Tel Aviv for Talks with Somalia and Upcoming Trump Meeting

#Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi "Irro" declared that past negotiations with Somalia hosted by Turkey yielded no meaningful results, stating that any future talks between the two sides will be held in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Irro also revealed plans to visit the United States in September for a private meeting with President Donald Trump, while asserting that Somaliland expects to secure international recognition from at least one additional nation before the end of 2026.

Ethiopia, through the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, @ifa_ethiopia, dismembers Somalia on an official map.

President @HassanSMohamud and @AliOmarMP, for lack of a better phrase, it is time for you to get a grip and grow a pair. Somalia’s sovereignty is routinely trampled upon by this country, while it plays dumb and repeatedly attempts to normalize sovereignty diminishing gimmickry.

They have done this to the country you lead more than ten times: Somalia-erasing maps, maps depicting Somaliland as a separate country, their national airline presenting Somaliland as another country, and now their Institute of Foreign Affairs engaging obsessively in misinformation and disinformation.

Enough.

Get rid of their troops and their embassy. Then perhaps they will wise up.
