Sonsaf organized inclusion task force committee meeting from civil society organization. The meeting objective was to update the status of agreed action points for the previous meeting and agreed new actions to support marginalized people.

SONSAF organized CSOs coordination meeting for Somaliland umbrellas and NGOs. During the meeting, CSOs programs coordination, programs synergy, and the new joint CSOs Climate Change Policy draft was discussed.

SONSAF's New BOD had their first meeting today. The BOD members have discussed the general situation and the current political dynamics of the country. The BOD members have also discussed the SONSAF's role in SL democratisation.

SONSAF organised the sixth meeting of the CSOs taskforce for the advocacy of the rights and the needs of vulnerable groups. The taskforce discussed the activities they need to accomplished in the next quarter.

SONSAF hosted a meeting between the World Bank and CSOs in Somaliland to discuss WB funding for the Somali Urban Resilient Project in Hargeisa. The meeting also explored the potential role of CSOs in WB initiatives in Somaliland.

Mohamed Saed Hersi has been elected as SONSAF's new chairperson by the new Board of Directors. He will serve that role in the next two years.

The new BoD elected in SONSAF General Assembly Meeting today. They will lead SONSAF in the next two years.

Somaliland CSOs led by SONSAF had a fruitful meeting with the nee minister, vice minister and the DG of MESAF. The meeting's purpose was an introductory between the new MESAF officials and the CSOs and to strength their work cooperations.

The Somaliland CSOs led by SONSAF had a meeting with UNTMIS Acting SRSG Mr. James Swan. The cooperation between UN Agencies and the SL CSOs have been discussed during the meeting.

SONSAF organized a launching event to present the Joint Civil Society 2024 Elections Report. Government ministers, commissioners from NEC, the chairs of the Political Parties and officials from CSOs attended the event.
