@virtualstatman Apologies, I meant 10% narrower than 2000mm.
Having followed F1 since the mid 80's, my favourite cars are mostly 1990-93.
If we could get somewhere close to those cars size-wise, I would be very happy.
@virtualstatman Possibly Andrea Moda in 1992?
Bought Coloni's assets at the end of '91, but weren't allowed to compete in the South African GP as the FIA decided they were a new team.
So their 1st GP was technically Round 2?
@raceliefhebber@UnracedF1@virtualstatman Well worth reading the full interview. Plenty of old Team Lotus stories in there.
I was always a fan of Motorsport Magazine's "Lunch With..." series. Many interesting stories with many interesting motorsports people.
@UnracedF1@virtualstatman As for it being a '101T' - it looks like a 101, it's definitely not a 100T.
I seem to remember spare cars of that age being referred to as 'T-cars'. Could it be the spare 101 (as opposed to Piquet and Nakajima's race cars) that was painted?
@UnracedF1@virtualstatman From an interview with Peter Warr (former Team Lotus team boss).
Would appear to be a 101 from 1989 painted to show Coca-Cola what the car would look like if they agreed to sponsor the team.
