Has there ever been a TV show that depended as much on it’s lead as The Blacklist?

Just started watching it a few weks ago and James Spader is amazing

So much of the show is formualic TV, but his character is so iconic that it makes it compelling

Have I spent 20+ hours creating a spreadsheet, updating it every other week, calling districts to ask for clarification on policies, vetting the data and only including cumulative case numbers in each district's COVID-dashboard to show w/ data mask policies are pointless? Yes.
