I always dreamed of performing in Wembley ever since I picked up the drumsticks when I was 13. Last night my long lasted dream finally came true in Wembley Arena! It was an honor to play our music for everyone who came out! Also a big thanks to KOREA ON STAGE IN LONDON for having us! Canโt wait to see our UK villains again in a few days!

Hello Villains, This is Gun-il
I think this will probably be my last greeting to you as a member of Xdinary Heroes.
I really wanted to remain Xdinary Heroes until the very end, and I wanted to protect the six-member Xdinary Heroes. But as you all know, I had no choice but to accept the companyโs decision
Even now, it still doesnโt feel real to me.
There are so many things I want to say to Villains. I still donโt know where or how to begin. But now that I am no longer a member of Xdinary Heroes, I donโt want to hide the truth or make excuses with lies just to protect myself. I believe there are things that I need to tell you myself, which is why I am writing this.
First of all, the person who wrote the post that started all of this was someone I met through an acquaintance and we dated for about two weeks.
At the time, I was mentally very exhausted because of the malicious comments and false rumors about me that had been going on for some time, as well as the various concerns I had about XDIZโs music and performances. Rather than burdening the people close to me by opening up about how I was feeling, I was at a point where it felt easier to vent my frustrations to a stranger who didnโt really know me.
The person who made the inappropriate remarks about fans in the phone recording that was made public to Villains was indeed me. Regardless of the reason, the fact that I said those things does not change. I sincerely apologize to everyone who was disappointed and hurt by what I said.
However, I want to honestly explain what kind of situation and emotional state I was in at the time and who those words were directed toward.
Earlier this year, sasaeng fans broke into our dorm, and they even put a tracking device on my personal vehicle and followed me around. After experiencing things like that, I developed a lot of fear and resentment toward certain malicious fans, and I went through a very difficult time emotionally.
But because I was the leader and also the oldest hyung, I couldnโt easily talk about my fears or anxiety. I tried my best to control my emotions and carry on.
Then, in June of this year, I prepared for the Inspire Arena concert with the members, wanting to give Villains the absolute best performance we could. We prepared incredibly hard, and after finishing the first dayโs performance, I checked social media with excitement and anticipation.
Of course, no performance can ever be perfect, and I believe we need to acknowledge our shortcomings and continue improving. However, that day, I saw a lot of malicious posts that went beyond criticism or opinions about the performance, things that were difficult for us to understand.
Because it was a performance I had prepared with all my heart, I think I broke down emotionally a lot when I saw the unexpected criticism and malicious comments.
That said, I didnโt want to cause worry to the company people or the members, so I couldnโt easily open up about my feelings. In the end, I poured out the emotions I had been holding back to someone I had only met not long ago, and in the process, I blurted out expressions that were too strong and wrong without hesitation.
I never thought that conversation would be recorded and made public. However, regardless of whether it was made public, I am fully aware that the very fact that I said such a thing was wrong.
There is only one thing I absolutely want to say.
At the time, the people I was speaking about emotionally were some malicious fans who, hiding behind anonymity, recklessly blamed us and violated our privacy. It was never what I said to all the villains who believed in and supported us.
I believe that because I have tried to show you the image of a diligent and reliable leader, the disappointment and sense of betrayal you may have felt through this matter must have been even greater. I sincerely feel very sorry about that.
complaining about sound quality is genuinely like what the helly bc as a sound engineer if u asked me to mix xdiz i will die like they are so incredibily hard to mix live bc of all the mics and theyโre running and screaming + have these villains never heard about audio phasing?

I also saw messages asking why we performed fewer songs than at previous concerts. But I donโt think todayโs concert actually had fewer songs.
We performed 25 songs + two encore, which isnโt very different from our previous concerts. I think because the ๋ฐ๋กฏ์ฝ wasnโt there, it made it seem like there were fewer songs. And Villains know especially than anyone how demanding our songs are. Theyโre incredibly high and physically exhausting to sing.. If performing even more songs became the standard expectation, our vocalists could genuinely end up damaging their voices, making it difficult for us to keep performing for a long time.. Weโre the kind of people who genuinely think the most fun thing in the world is running around on stage, singing, and enjoying concerts together with Villains.
If our bodies and voices could handle performing 100 songs in a row without any problems, weโd honestly want to do all 100. Thatโs how precious performing with Villains is to us. I also hope youโll understand that, with that mindset, weโre already performing as many songs as we realistically can..
I also saw comments asking when the sound quality would finally improve. I completely understand why people feel that way. I asked some acquaintances who attended todayโs concert for feedback, and some thought the sound was fine while others felt it was disappointing. This might sound like an excuse, but I want to explain why mixing sound for our band is genuinely difficult.
Weโre not a typical band with just one vocalist. We have multiple vocal microphones, and our songs cover an huge range of genres, from soft ballads to extremely heavy metal, all within the same concert which makes getting consistently great sound incredibly difficult. And as our venues get larger, the sound naturally varies depending on where youโre sitting, so some people end up having a great audio experience, while others donโt. That said, we also want to solve this with regret. so weโve been working with different sound teams to find better solutions this year. We worked with a new team during the Awesome Festival, and todayโs concert was also handled by a sound team we were collaborating with for the first time. Theyโre all incredibly talented professionals here in Korea. Weโre also trying many different ways because weโre aware of these sound issues too, so weโll continue doing everything we can to improve them as quickly as possible.
Anyway, Iโm so sorry if you didnโt enjoy todayโs concert because of the sound quality.

๐ค; โEveryone is pretty angry right now. Thatโs because they spent a lot of time and money to come see your concert. You need to take that into consideration as well. Since people are still upset, reading something like this will only make them even angrierโ
I know very well that many of you spent a lot of time and money to come see us. I also know very well that no concert can ever be perfect or satisfy everyone. But more than anything, I just want even one more person who comes to our concerts to leave having had a happy time. Thatโs the mindset we had while preparing for this concert. Thatโs why I wanted to apologize to the people who were disappointed and explain where some of the misunderstandings came from, so I wrote this message. But if reading this only makes you even angrier, then honestly, I really donโt know what else Iโm supposed to say ใ ใ โฆ
To Villains who understand, thank you. Those of you whoโve been with us for a long time know that this is the first time Iโve ever written something like this. Ever since our debut, whenever there were ridiculous or unreasonable comments, I usually just ignored them. But today, I really felt like I had to say what was on my mind. If I just let this pass, I felt like I might start mistaking the small number of Lainz who treat me and our team like an emotional dumping ground for the fandom as a whole. And honestly if I kept holding it in this time too, I'm going to die of stress ใ ใ ใ ..
Anyway, to everyone coming to tomorrowโs concert, please come safely. Letโs just have fun together first! I truly appreciate the constructive feedback that is not nitpicking and swearing at me for their own ridiculous personal reasons. Everything canโt become perfect all at once, but Iโll continue improving the things that I realistically can, little by little
