@AmysMargin This was probably not your point but your phrasing about it being your job makes me think that housewives should not feel like it's their duty to work 24/7. A baby already requires constant attention, but after that do your job and then "go home" for the day.

This is the problem. 100 years ago people decided you had to read it literally or you were rejecting God.
