This book brings together the most unforgettable stories written by the youth of Gaza over the past 10 years, chronicling the human impact of occupation and siege with unparalleled honesty and heart.

Selected by co-founders Ahmed Alnaouq and Pam Bailey, the writings offer a tender and inspiring view of Palestine. The editors have also contributed an epilogue reflecting on the most recent war in Gaza, a chapter that brings forth their own personal grief, including the tragic loss of Ahmed’s 21 family members in a single airstrike.

@atli_vidar Ég man eftir jardaförinni hjá móðurbróður mínum, sem var mikill bóhem. Allir gestir biðu alltof lengi í kirkjugarðinum þegar sonur hans mætti loks með öskuna (í íláti) í Bónuspoka. Því næst arkaði öll hersingin um garðinn í leit að leiðinu, sem engin vissi almennilega hvar var.
