As we are trying to build up the 30MF community in Vietnam, we held a custom build community event, borrowing from Bandai's "hunting fangos" mini-quest.
Following are some notable entries, please take a look if interested #30mf#vietnam#30ml
@GrandestBust@miho_R02 that's right, let's disregard any counter-argument to maintain our own belief. internet is to shout out into the void, not to listen after all.
@OASIOwO@HK_MW_ often, each country government would have certain review / censorship for publishing. it is unreasonable to ask the JP biz to have to understand your country's custom and law. it is something a biz originated from your country should deal with to import JP content
@OASIOwO@HK_MW_ have you consider this take: the responsibility lie in the consumer's market, not with JP - the creator side?
Steam was created by Americans to serve American's customers. If you want official, easy distribution of JP content, some biz in your country should step up (cont)
@JKamron_1@SliceWaifu wtf are you talking about :))
"i am coming in uninvited to take your stuffs for free, but let's talk about your unhealthy work schedule first" is certainly an interesting take
you work in creative, you know how self-selective your field is right? only top 1% creator get rich
@Crimson_Gaia@_Shorono_@never_more_3 may i introduce you to concept of “deficit-of-trust society”
piracy where rights are infringed damage the public environment
@SliceWaifu@JKamron_1 let’s put it this way: it is as serious a response as the original dumb-take i was refering to.
half-truth with heavy dose of exaggeration in attemp to insult / appeal to emotional reaction instead of rational discourse
@reetardee@mrjeffu yes, and people who wish to consume JP content, please follow Gabe and Sportify example and open biz in your countries, to serve your countrymen to those enticing JP content!
you should take charge instead of waiting for someone else
@SliceWaifu@JKamron_1 calling name on internet, instead of seriously consider the validity of other’s view, is the game after all right?
all for self-convenience!! huzzah!!!
@NormalTran123@metal969280@mrjeffu 2. creator may make some money off merch, but even merch can get bootleg. this is the norm (thanks China) that if you pirate, you’d feel ok to buy bootleg merch too, cutting off a revenue stream that the creator could have gotten
@NormalTran123@metal969280@mrjeffu ok it seems people on internet are confused.
the point i am refering to: a dude saying pirate don’t benefit from game, but creator can make back profit by merch.
my counter arguments:
1. piracy is lining-up wallet of someone for sure, just that you the consumer dont see it…
@Hastur18579986@posinihili@florbosagbag@AliciaAlcott i feel like this argument is going in circle.
let me be brief: for piracy to flourish, i bet my ass that someone is profiting off it. think of free porn, you are not paying for porn, but someone is making money of you right?
