كما هو حال مارتينيز فكورتيس جونز لولا الخطأ الذي إرتكبه لكان من أفضل لاعبين المباراة و لحصل على تقييم مرتفع أيضاً و بصراحة أرى أن الهجوم عليه مبالغ فيه جداً.

بعيداً عن الخطأ الذي أرتكبه رأيي أنه قدم أداء ممتاز طوال دقائق المباراة و لو حالفه الحظ لكان أيضاً سجل هدف لولا قائم الريال في الشوط الأول.

شخصياً أشوف جونز يحتاج يعش المباريات لكي يدخل فعلاً في أجواء الفريق بشكل ممتاز و بعدها سنرى تأثيره الجيد على خط وسط الفريق.

People will look at Madrid having 36% possession and because Mourinho is the coach they’ll imagine they sat in their box for 90 minutes and made the game boring. If you watched it, you know that’s not what happened.

Inter were excellent. Tactically, they’re one of the best teams I’ve watched this season. The way they kept the ball, moved Madrid around and found spaces, you could see exactly what they were trying to do. They didn’t come to the Bernabeu frightened of Real Madrid.

But Madrid were also excellent because they understood what kind of game Inter wanted and refused to play it on Inter’s terms.

Every time Madrid recovered the ball, you felt something could happen. Vinicius running, Mbappe running, players arriving from midfield. Inter would attack Madrid for two minutes and suddenly Madrid needed about ten seconds to be at the other end.

That’s what made the game beautiful. One team was trying to suffocate you with the ball. The other was waiting for the moment you gave them somewhere to run.

And both defences deserve enormous credit. Inter created pressure that would make most teams lose their organisation. Madrid didn’t. Then Madrid attacked with frightening speed and somehow Inter kept recovering and making tackles.

It wasn’t one team attacking and another surviving. Both teams were asking completely different questions of each other all night.

Honestly, since PSG-Bayern last season, I can’t remember enjoying a Champions League game this much.

Sometimes people think entertainment means both teams forgetting how to defend and finishing 5-4. No.

Give me two very good teams attacking properly, defending properly, and trying to beat each other in completely different ways. That’s cinema.”
