Most lending protocols on Btc require kyc, wrapping,smart contracts, and trusting a third-party protocol .A perfect example is the
Coinbase Bitcoin-Backed Lending via Morpho.
user give their Bitcoin collateral to Coinbase which is converted to Coinbase-wrapped Bitcoin (cbBTC) at a 1:1 ratio and transferred to Morpho.

Morpho then sends USDC loans directly to the user's Coinbase account .This approach is centralized, and you have to trust a third-party protocol (coinbase ) to control your funds which can be frozen and seized.

But the templar is built different, it uses Multi-Party Computation (MPC), which allows users to send BTC directly into Templar without wrapping or bridging. You can borrow stablecoins against your Bitcoin without trusting third parties (TTPs).
This ensures your Bitcoin can never be frozen or seized. It is also Permissionless, so no accounts and kyc are needed to use templar.
