The journey began in the year 2000, when the Government of India opened the insurance sector. This landmark step taken in partnership with Japan’s esteemed Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Company Ltd. marked not merely the start of a business venture, but the beginning of a lasting legacy. This joint venture united the strengths of two distinguished institutions: Tokio Marine’s global expertise and IFFCO’s deep-rooted values of service, trust, and unwavering commitment to farmers and cooperatives.
