One of my friends was saying Virat Kohli's achievements are nothing compared to Sachin Tendulkar's because Sachin batted in the toughest era, while Kohli played in the flat pitch era.

Today, I had a conversation with the same guy again today. I told him Mitchell Starc is the greatest left arm pacer, and he came up with his nostalgia agenda and said Wasim Akram is the greatest.

I reminded him that just two days ago, he was saying pitches are flat in this era. So if Starc can dominate in this era, doesn't that make him better than Wasim Akram, who bowled in the toughest era where conditions were favoured for bowlers?

Then he changed his argument and said batters today aren't technically strong, which is why Starc gets wickets so easily, while in Akram's era every batter was technically strong.

So I asked him, if batters today aren't technically strong and even mid bowlers can easily get them out even on flat pitches, then how did Virat Kohli manage to score most runs in this era?
