As announced at the end of December, we planned to launch a blockchain project in 2026. Alhamdulillah, the work has progressed well.

🚀 GURASA Project Update

GURASA Project has received approval from the relevant Nigerian government authorities. This is a key first step to ensure everything is built in full compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. Registration helps protect the interests and assets of all users on GURASA. Upon completion, we will also proceed with registration under Nigeria’s SEC.

GURASA is not limited to Nigeria alone. In the future, we plan to expand across other African countries and beyond, by God’s grace. In addition, GURASA will go beyond basic on-ramp and off-ramp services, with more solutions to be introduced over time.

As shared previously, development has progressed significantly. Our engineers are actively working on the backend and frontend systems required for launch.

We expect the GURASA mobile app to be ready soon, In Sha Allah.

The GURASA Project is officially registered with the Nigerian government, and our developers are working tirelessly to bring it to life. We’re also preparing for SEC registration in Nigeria.

GURASA won’t serve only Nigerians, it’s built for Africa and beyond. And it’s more than an on/off-ramp.

Back in December last year, we announced our plan to build a blockchain project in 2026. Today, that vision is becoming reality, GURASA is now being built.

As we all know, P2P trading on exchanges has become a major headache: scams, wasted time with merchants, price slashing, fund deductions, and endless disputes.

GURASA is a non-custodial crypto on- and off-ramp platform that enables seamless conversion between Naira and digital assets (cNGN, USDT, USDC, and supported tokens), as well as crypto-to-crypto swaps. It is designed for retail users, merchants, and institutions, with a strong focus on compliance, security, and scalability.
