i think regardless of whitney's gender their primary motivation is always teen age fueled horny first and then the trauma stuff second (which differs based on how society perceives them) i think even if you're into yuri you deserve a girl rapist as a treat. is what i'm saying
@coitocoide@avesachis yes ur right!! thank u ^_^ i will be honest, i still somewhat agree with my opinion on f whitney BUT i do understand now that its all opinion + not cannon. so ill be sure to remember that for the future :3
im just gonna put this whole thread here LOL i def worded my previous post bad. i think i worded my thoughts abt whitney much better here and i think what i was trying to get at comes through MARGINALLY better. esp with the discussion!!! ๐ ๐ ๐ #neverpostgeeked
@avesachis@coitocoide see thats exactly what i was trying to get at. unfortunately my post gained more traction than i initially wanted ๐ญ for me, whitney as a character is extremely nuianced both ways and without taking their gender into account, there is a complexity in how they portray themselves +
@avesachis@coitocoide YES i agree with the avery comment 100%!!! idk, maybe its just a flaw of mine that i read each gender with different flavors, but dol is a sandbox so i feel that it was maybe the point. but again, maybe im just thinking too hard
@coitocoide@avesachis social norm and pressure. so rather than the cannon of whitney acting the exact same with the exact same upbringing no matter what, i just thought abt how their gender would persuade their thoughts & actions given how society treats each gender. this is such an interesting topic
@coitocoide@avesachis i see where ur coming from def!! idk, i guess maybe im just thinking too hard on how different an upbringing whitney would have with either m or f, rather than taking cannon into account. i think that irl, being m, and being f, forces u to put urself in different boxes bc of +
