During the visit, he was briefed on the prevailing security situation, operational deployments, surveillance architecture, inter-agency synergy and the various nation-building initiatives being undertaken by the formation.

Addressing the officers of @easterncomd, #COAS appreciated their efforts towards advancing the transformation of the #IndianArmy and exhorted all ranks to continue striving for excellence in support of the vision of #ViksitBharat2047, guided by the ethos of #NationFirst.

The #COAS also pinned Commendation Cards on selected personnel in recognition of their exemplary service, devotion to duty and outstanding contributions towards enhancing operational effectiveness.

Delighted to address the annual Regional Passport Officers’ Conference in New Delhi today.

From 77 Passport Seva Kendras in 2014 to 545 today, Bharat’s Passport Service Programme has reached the remotest places of the nation. It is a model partnership between Ministry of External Affairs and Department of Posts.

The deliberations focused on how to improve on service delivery. This is best done by constantly taking feedback from the public.

We are preparing a global workforce for a global workplace. The efficient and seamless issuance of passports is a strong enabler.
