How is it possible that PSN was down for hours today and @PlayStation didn't even have the decency to post something on their official channels?
The level of disrespect is unbelievable. I have never seen anything like this before.
We need to put them in their place.
Playing this only because it will be on Disc. Still, Tomb Raider releases (on Disc) in the same timeframe and then there's Fable (on Disc), so it will probably take a while before I get to play it.
Me: I wish I were her 🥰
Me: *looks at my favorite female characters*
Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower.
Me: ...Actually, never mind. I wish her all the best, but she can keep that life. 😍
"Digital future in gaming is inevitable. It was going to happen sooner or later."
Says who? WHO? It hasn't happened anywhere else. Movies, music, books... are still being sold physically.
It's a stupid (and false) narrative fueled by corporate greed. As simple as that.
There is something very deep concerning when you have people defend Sony and PlayStation going full digital, like it's a good thing taking away that choice
What do people benefit from defending Sony? I just don't get it
Unpopular opinion: The fact that they can quickly install data centers nationally means they could've been updating infrastructure which they claimed was too difficult and expensive.
"You know PlayStation isn't going to reverse their policy, right?"
Wow, good point. I'll just throw my beliefs aside and only buy digital PS games I don't own, then.
That's what you want me to say, right?
@xMBGx They'll reverse course only if it costs them money. Given how weak-willed most gamers are, this "boycott" will last a couple of months at most. So no, no reversal in sight: Sony correctly assessed its fanbase's IQ. (I'm going PC next gen anyway, so enjoy.)
