@ceejayflyy @lazchance Yes he can because stifling him brings Detroits offense to a halt. He is LITERALLY their entire offense, Cades involved in EVERY play. We have enough offense on the team where he can be supported. Even stopping Cade half the time would be amazing for getting a W in the playoffs.

You can joke, but a whole gm of Sochan guarding Cade would bring better results. He def wouldn’t drop 42. Great defenders don’t care about getting cooked every now and then

@mikeydaye100 @NBA_NewYork The other 2 times he was on him, Cade got blocked and Sochan stole the ball after hounding him. I’ll take Cade getting stopped two out of three times and only getting a 3 off a broken play offensive rebound. Sochan on Cade all game will be much better and Cade def won’t drop 42

@dre23mj @KnicksMuse Miami did it with Butler every yr and never got the chip. Jazz with Malone and Stockton. Recently Indiana. Only difference is they made the finals which NY can still do. The Knicks are just that type of team to turn it up in the playoffs. They also always get tired at the end tho

The Knicks literally turned on the jets in the 3rd in both games 1 and 2 and destroyed the Celtics for the end of the 3rd and entire 4th both those games. Game 4 was over and NY was goin up 3-1

@dre23mj @KnicksMuse You quite literally can. There are teams all throughout NBA history (literally a ton of teams) that always just happen to “turn it on” in the playoffs. Mostly this is because Brunson is a “playoff riser” meaning he always ups his game dramatically when the playoffs start.
