2 years out of my 7 years in the NFL thus far I played through depression and anxiety and almost quit and had my best year. I played through trauma another year and had my best year.
Moral of the story : Just keep going. You never know what’s waiting on the other side!
@LibMarianne I wouldn’t let ‘em over. I went to a work conference and test positive Sunday. My whole family then got COVID. We’re vaxxed and boosted. I’m 37 and in good shape. I felt awful for 48 hours now I’m fatigued, feeling vertigo off and on, have foggy brain, and intermittent cough.
I had a great time connecting and reconnecting at #RES2022 but sadly I lost a cuff I was recently gifted by my mentor. I’m pretty sure I lost it when I was tearing down and moving my booth. It means the world. Any help finding it would be amazing. Pilamayaye lo

Students should know that failing a class is not the end of the world. Stopping or dropping out is a private and personal choice. Higher education is not the only path to success, we have the power to define our own version of what a happy and healthy life looks like.
@mredshirtshaw I dropped out once and was shown the door once. I didn’t pass or dropped more classes than I chose to disclose. My path wasn’t ideal or straight. My journey isn’t something to aspire to, but it shows that mistakes can be overcome. Failure one way people can learn.
